2. Reset the range extender

Step 1: Connect your computer or laptop to the Ethernet port of your range extender using a well-maintained Ethernet or USB cable.
Step 2: Plug your range extender into a damaged-free electrical outlet. Also, ensure that the LED lights on your Linksys wireless repeater (extender) are stable.
Step 3: Launch an up-to-date internet browser and enter the default IP address of your main router into the URL bar field.
Step 4: As soon as you are done with the step 3 you will be prompted with a window asking for a username and Linksys Smart WiFi Router Password. Once done, click on Log In.
Step 5: Click on the Wireless option and after that, on Basic Wireless Settings.
